Squarespace customers - beware of a very realistic email phishing scam

One of our clients recently alerted us to an email he’d received requesting payment information to renew his Squarespace website hosting. On logging into his account, he realised that he still had 6 months until his renewal was due.

Please make sure that you always check that your emails from Squarespace come from no-reply@squarespace.com. If an email gives you a shortcut to log into your account, the best practice would be not to use it but to access your website separately, via your browser.
